Nine years later, it still charms the hell out of me to see people riding horses in the Uptown and Carrollton neighborhoods. This is in Audubon Park. (Pro-tip: @cascadestables offers trail rides through the park. It’s really fun and you don’t need to be an experienced rider. The horses are just the sweetest and mostly parade horses, so they are calm AF.)

The more I learn about ayurveda, the more interested I become in learning more about ayurveda. Last month I started @claireragz’s year-long ayurvedic immersion class (a birthday gift from Mark ❤️) and am loving the monthly live sessions. The class is such a great follow up to the foundation laid when I got my ayurvedic nutrition counseling certification. (But is also perfect for beginners.) I love diving deeper into my personal practice and gaining clarity on some of the trickier concepts (and sanskrit). Bonus: Grounding breaths and chanting with 20-something other humans makes for a lovely Sunday practice.
